The next drawing is in the works. This one came to me, In the Car! LOL Very rough doodle.
For Kind & Country - "Its Not Over Yet"
Here is the next step. Its coming along. It's now yard work and gardening season so we will see what gets done this week. I'm contemplating flowers and insects at the moment and how to get them from my head to the paper. LOL My last pictures did not have so many large fonts and words. They are all in the picture on the objects. This one is a little different as it won't have a scene.

Teacher Appreciation
Little present for the teachers! We love to show our appreciation for everything they do. My son is no easy task. I would seriously buy them vacations if I could afford it. And yes I said, THEM! My son had no less than six helpers this year and a few that he saw once a month or here and there that were also very helpful.
When Asperger's is involved it makes everything so much more entertaining and challenging!
Long story short version, My son had some wonderful women blessings this last year and a half! They helped turn his education around in a time sensitive situation to prepare him for middle school.
We wanted to do something special and creative! A few youtube videos later here are the results!
The larger arrangements are for his two teachers and the smaller for his assistants.
We are going to miss each and everyone of them next year!

I've taken to making gifts for family. Mostly my husband. I've made him several cards he keeps under the glass on his desk.
This year for our anniversary I made a picture for him with all the words of what he means to me! Each was in a different font. It was fun trying to keep it hid from him as most of the time I draw while watching evening tv.
Then for Mothers Day I made this for my Mother In Law.
Another little pic we made for the grandmas for Christmas with finger prints and stamps.
The Nana likes purple!
This Nana likes lots of color in her new bedroom!

Finding Favor ~ Say Amen
The next picture came to me in the car. Being a busy full-time working mom to a high needs child and in the second year of a new a business started with my husband that is his dream, I have to capture my idea when it hits on the back of any scrap of paper in my purse, my desk or the car. lol I had a lot of fun working on this one.
It's seriously one of my favorite songs. I just want to lift my hands and praise the Lord every time I hear it. It's by Finding Favor, "Say Amen".
Finding Favor, "Say Amen"
I photo'd this drawing in steps as it was coming together.
And the finished item.

Bible Journaling is something I am developing and trying to gain more confidence in doing. lol I seriously am a bit OCD about drawing something and then have an error or need to erase and not be able to. ROFL
As I was sitting in service one evening at Journey Church listening to the message I doodled this on my notes then came home and finished it out in my bible. Simple and sweet!

The bible that I searched for and decided upon because of the thick pages and the margins is this one. I took a picture from the inside. Just easier. LOL It is a very nice bible!! I love it!! The markers still bleed through so use a sheet of paper between your pages. Lots of people insert a second sheet on the backside with washi tape if the doodle that page.

First let me say I absolutely love Matthew West. He does such great Works! When I think about his song The List, I think how over my lifetime I have torn up several lists and threw them in the air to be carried off, forgiven. To say I learn things the first time, probably not but I have always had a heart for the Lord.
Piece of testimony....I have always been in and out of the church. To say I was a Christian, yes I was quote a "Christian" but not in the sense that I had this undeniable love for the Lord. Not in the sense that I had a relationship with the Lord. Had I studied his word, Yes. Had I attended church regularly when I did go, Yes. I always saw these people. Friends, family members, church members, youth leaders etc have this love for the Lord that I just didn't know how to get. I knew that I wanted it but I had no idea how to get it. How to have a relationship with the Lord.
Over the summer in 2015, I was again in awe of someone and their love for the Lord and I said, Lord I want that!! I don't know how to get it but that is what I want. Let me tell you something! When you ask the Lord to give you a love for Him, He's gonna do it! And He did. He clobbered me upside the head. I saw a relationship with the Lord in a whole new light. One that I understood. One that I can raise my hands to Him in worship. Can I say I am a Christian now, Yes!
